About Her
Motto in life: Do unto others... I enjoy my own company, but I have done that for long enough now. I am passionate in everything that I do and care about. Very independent, but would like it if someone else can make some of the decisions for a change.
Lived, worked and traveled a few places in the world and would like to do even more exploring with someone special. Enjoy the outdoors, however some days should just be spend indoors with a good book or movie and some good company. Into any kind of dancing and enjoy a really good party once in a while. I am an incurable romantic, but don't believe in cliched expressions of romance. Romance is showing that you really care, are thinking about me and interested in who I am.
I am caring, loving, intelligent, considerate, straightforward and very honest. Not into shopping, magazines, or wearing make-up & heels as soon as there might be a glimmer of daylight. Prefer to be loved for who I am and what I really look like. As you can see in my photos though....I know how to do it when it's required ;-) I am quite a serious kind of person with a very responsible job and can unfortunately analyze anything to distraction. Probably why I just need to be totally wild, silly and spontaneous sometimes to pop the release valve.
Pastimes of choice in no particular order: Dancing, watching a movie, bbq with friends, food festivals, the beach, any kind of boat on the ocean, Kirstenbosch, nature reserves, concerts, comedy clubs, jazz clubs, musical theatre, cultural festivals, visiting small towns, anything I haven't done before. Variety is the spice of life!
PS: I am not a pet lover. Very allergic to cats and most dogs.

Just an average guy who is attractive to me, honest, caring, loving, thoughtful, independent and intelligent who would be interested in me as a person. Respect for me and others, with the cornerstone being respect for yourself, is essential. You must have the self-confidence and strength of personality to handle and not be intimidated by a woman with a strong personality.
I have been told more than once that I am a very affectionate person, but I do need that returned.
